SOPA DE CARACOL

My remarkable day it was amazing. I remember like yesterday... Everything started when my nany "Marisol" and me where on the floor of my house watching tv. We were watching some program about music and started to play the hit of the summer SOPA DE CARACOL, then  I jumped and I begin to move my legs and my arms trying to dance. After that my nany was so surprised and happy to saw me that she found that song on the radio and put it for me everytime she could teaching me the choreografhy.
Since that day I love dance. I was almost 6 years old when I started dancing  "Sopa de Caracol" and after that I did not stop. First my mom put me on ballet classes, I did ballet almost 10 years of my life, also I danced folclore on high school and I took classes of salsa, merengue and contemporary dance this last one that I did not like.
Today I still go to take classes of ballet and also I really like to dance zumba, it´s a new dance that I found.
I have to say that years ago I thought to be a dancer, however I prefred to do another thing with my life because I love public administration too. However I would not be happy if I can not dance anymore I still go every class I can and I work hard to get better.
That day with Marisol is definityli my remarkable day. That day makes me happy until now.

Let´s go to Egypt.

I always want it to go to Egypt, so badly. It is something that I almost can not stand with because I like everything that comes from there. I want to go so much because since I was a little girl that I love history and I love all the history from that country without exception.

One day, I was day dreaming and I thought how much I can learn about some countries of Africa, this amazing region that most people do not know anything about it, and especially I thought so many things about Egypt.

First their food. I mean what do you eat in the dessert? Probably  there are amazing staff to eat that I do not know and I can try it there. Second how are their houses? It must be so hot there  that if you want to survive you must have a good place to live. Third their culture. Africa is such a  different culture to discover. Can you imagine: their  parties, their language, their animals, their monuments, their jewelry ...   so fantastic.

I would like to be there and literally to do everything I can. I want to see all those places that were made so many years ago, of course see the pyramids, go  to their parties, see how they  live, how they work and basically what is to be an Egyptian.

If I have to say the truth, I would not like to live there. It is not because I am afraid to change my routine or to live and such a new world. I would not like to live there because I  really like to live in Chile and because I want to do so many things here too, that probably I need my entire life to do everything I want to do, but of course I can travel to other places and see how it is going there.

My Ideal Job

My ideal job should be easy to describe. I do not ask for much, I just want to work in something that makes me happy. However, what do I mean with something to make me happy?

Firstly it has to be after 9:00 am, everything earlier than that, makes my day in such a bad day. Secondly I would love to have a lot of time for lunch, at least one hour and a half, I think that eating quinkly is bad for my health and makes me angry too. Thrid I would like to work in a public service, because it is the reason that I am studying public administration. I think that I am a person who can contribute to this country from inside the institutions that move it. Finally it would be amazing if I can work down in the place that I am from. I am from Rengo and I love that town, so if I can work in the place that I love, it woulb be great.

The quialities and skills that I need to have this job are many. I can say that being a good public administrator should be many things. Things like being innovative, proactive, patient and also a public administrator must work hard every day to make things right.

I would be a good public administrator, because I like to work hard. I do not like easy things and every time that something is dificult to me I work harder to make it right.

Probably it is going to be hard to find that job that I would love. However if it was easy to find a good job in this world, nobody would be sad. So I will try really hard to have and find the job that I wish.

Who is Paula Olmedo?

Hello!! My name is Paula Olmedo Rojas, I´m 23 years old, I live in Santiago and I  love to have fun.
My life is such a normal life, and I love it. I am in my last year of public administration at the University of Chile and I have so much to do every day.
I live in Santiago for my studies , but I am from Rengo VI region of Chile. Over there is my family and my good friends from school, even my boyfriend, so I travel there almost every weekend. Also because it is only to hours away from Santiago.
Before this year I lived alone in Santiago, but this year my younger brother got into school too, so now he lives with me. We share an apartment in El Llano, San Miguel. Also I have another sister who lives in Valdivia because she goes to the school there. She is studying Biology Marine. Besides I have a dog "Cerec", which  I love. Cerec is a beagle that never stops to do bad things into my house, but everyone at home loves him.
What I like to do is sports. I dance zumba  regularly and I ride my bike almost every weekend. I love to have ice cream with my friends and to eat Chinese food or sushi with theme too.
Like every person I have weaknesses, the ones that I can mentioned are to be  to good to eat, to good to sleep and really bad to be on time any place.
Now, that I am taking Ingles IV at college I expect to get better  in writing and also it would be great if I can speak correctly.  Hope I can learn a lot from my classmates too and do my best  to get good grades to have the final certificate.
