One week before the last election, on November 9, it was the "Gay Parade Chile: Open Mind Fest" in downtown Santiago. The parade was organize for the  Movementent for Integration and Homosexual Freedom (MOVILH).
There were hundreds of people on the place, with friends and families, enjoyed the music, dances and performances of the gay parade.
To this celebration for the diversity were guests the whole the candidates for the presidence of Chile. However only five of them were there supporting the event. The candidates that attended to the celebration were: Roxana Mirana, Tomas J. Also other two candidates, Evelyn Matthei and Ricardo Israel, do not response to the invitation and are publicly against to the gay marriage that was the topic that celebration was about.
Also the attendees and representantes of MOVILICH began a public argument against the catholic church of Chile, accusing them of a explicit intervention against gay marriage and orjurgate the catholic church do not been a political intervention actor in this subject.

FOR ONCE IN MY LIFE

I don´t really have a favorite band or artist or kind of music. I just like mostly every kind of music.
When I was little I really like the group call it MAZAPAN. Then, several years  after, I liked the space girls also the backstreetboys. Also in my family really like folclore so I came a fan of Violeta Parra, Victor Jara and some other groups like Intillimani.
In high school I began to like jazz I like a lot of bands from Chicago, I like singer like Stevie Wonder and also I like this new artist: Jamie Cullum. He is such a good singer he play piano so well and his songs are so powerful that make me like him too hahaha.
I have to say that I also like some type of reguetoon, bachata and salsa too, because those kind of music are so good to dance that they are good enough for me.
Today my favorite artist could be Stevie Wonder, he is such a good singer, I love his song "FOR ONE IN MY LIFE", it is such a good song it has everything to be good: i) good lyrics, ii) good music and a iii) good singer.
But I have to say that probably tomorrow I will have another favorite singer or song....

I love democracy!!!

Since I was born I  have heard a lot of people who were born in a dictatorship in Chile. They could not vote for mostly 20 years and they have to accept everything just the way it came.
I was born in the 90´s, just when democracy came back to my country and I was born inside a family who loves to vote and show that they are participing. For example, I grow up hearing my dad saying how important it is to live in a democracy and how important it is to be a citizen and participe on every decision that you can.
Today we are in front of an eleccion for a president coming in November 17. The new president of Chile also is gonna be the sixth president after democracy came back to our country and it could be for the second time a woman.
Of course I am going to vote in the next election, because I feel this is a right that we should use and most of all for ladies  because we won it several years after men.
Also I think the electoral campaings are getting better and better in this democracy since I was born. Years ago there were a lot of dificulties to control electoral campaigns, things like the money they were using or the things they were offering were not right, but in this time those things are really getting better.
A person that wants to run for a public position must have a really good reason and that reason should be public service.
I have never considered to be a politicians, because I like to be in the other side of the decisions more. Acctualy I like better the technical part of the politics.
I am from Rengo, small town south of Santiago, so I vote there. The campaing there is not as good as I would like, because the major of the city has a lot to say about it but I guess it is something that many times you can not control for the idiosyncrasy that such a small town like Rengo has.
